DBD has a strong, broad based, Nuclear Assurance capability. We are a leading provider of Nuclear Safety consultancy to the UK and international nuclear sectors. Our Nuclear Safety engineers are centralised in Warrington but work throughout the UK. Our significant clients have included AWE, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, as well as Sellafield, Urenco UK and Capenhurst Nuclear Services. DBD have excellent contacts with the UK Nuclear Regulator (ONR) and understand their concerns and approach to Safety Assessment.

DBD’s Assurance function has experience of working with UK site licence organisations as well as providing advice to nuclear new build organisations with respect to the GDA process. DBD can provide safety case support and production for the design, construction, commissioning and continued operations of plant and equipment. In addition, DBD’s Assurance advisory service provides organisational solutions to create, develop, improve and enhance safety and organisational cultural performance.
