John Hurst
Non Executive Director
John has over 30 years of experience within the nuclear industry and posses detailed knowledge of nuclear safety, engineering deliverables and disciplines. He has extensive experience of working in nuclear site license companies to improve safety and business performance through cultural change and application of best practice. John has taken the safety lead in numerous projects enabling risk reduction and mitigation whilst finding pragmatic solutions to challenges which had delayed existing projects. John is responsible for the technical governance that ensures the quality of the output and safety responsibilities of DBD.
John has detailed knowledge of safety management systems and nuclear site license compliance and is currently the Chief Technical Officer within DBD. Within his role, John finds himself working closely with the CEO to ensure the continued success and development of the business by meeting the current and future technical requirements of the national and international nuclear marketplace. As a result, he has developed a growing responsibility for the technical governance that ensures the quality of the output and advice of the business.
