Carwyn Chamberlain
Senior - Business Development Manager UK Civil
Carwyn is an enthusiastic individual who possesses a proven dedication to achieve a very high standard in all that he does. He has wide ranging experience in the use of process and operational modelling codes and has been responsible for the development of simulation models at both an operational and strategic level.
He takes a lead role on projects developing OR models/strategic tools, client to modelling team interface, data collation and management, results visualisation, enabling clients to better projects, scope management, stakeholder engagement.
Recent tasks Carwyn has worked on:
Led the development of the NDA Enterprise model, the first model to be used as an integration between waste arisings and strategic aims including programme and cost deadlines.
Developed a model for UK clients that integrates project planning with flexible constraints such as external funding to optimise business plans.
Twice elected as retention and development lead of the UK’s Young Generation Network of the Nuclear Institute.
Presented at international conferences on the use of modelling within the nuclear industry and on the next generation of professionals in the UK in the nuclear industry.
