Principal - Project Manager
Carl is a SC security cleared Principal Project Manager. Carl is a dual trained DCS and Functional Safety Configuration Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the process control and automation industry; acquired within the nuclear, pharmaceutical, chemical, oil & gas, and production processing sectors. Carl’s recently Project Managed the AWE Joining Sprints project, prior to this project Carl project managed an IPD radiopharmaceutical project based in Canada circa $300 million CAN$, the project scope consisted of design and build of a new production facility to manufacture Actinium Ac-225 radioisotope. Carl’s previous role was 'Senior Project Manager' at Jacobs Nuclear where he managed several projects under the NDA Asset Management Consultancy Framework and the Baseline Wet Waste project at Dungeness for Magnox.
Carl is customer focused, works collaboratively with customers, 3rd party suppliers and project teams; Carl possesses a calm and happy disposition and is a conscientious team player. Carl is commercially astute, having previously worked in international procurement and bid management. Experienced in the delivery of proposed technical solutions, proposed project hardware/ equipment and software, milestone payment schedules, NEC3 contracts, risk management, change management, project resource management, resource schedules and generation of multidiscipline integrated project plans. Previously Carl spent a couple of years in Australia as a Senior Engineer, working in a managerial capacity, reporting directly to the company owner in a mid-sized international engineering company.
